Heck, this is about the price of an unrestored machine so if you wanted to re-restore it to a different flavor you can. This is a very nicely restored VMC 27 Pepsi Machine. It started it's life as a Coke Machine, although this model was made in both Coke and Pepsi this was the Coke version. Not wanting it Coke, I decided to go Pepsi, at first I was going to go Pepsi Blue but some very early Pepsi Machines were made in yellow so I thought it would be very cool to go that route. Machine is 100% complete and working.
Total restoration where machine was completely disassembled. Machine was restored 3 years ago and has been part of my personal collection. This machine displays fantastic and is currently in my home office. Although it displays great, the paint is not museum quality.
It has some flaws so although not perfect still very nice. When moving it inside 3 years ago my helper dropped the bottom portion too hard where there was damage to both sides of the base on the rear, shown in my last 2 photos.
I was going to have it repaired but once I put it on display it never bothered me enough to have it fixed as I really don't see it unless I look. Machine has new gaskets, wiring, insulation, screws, polished bezel and I had the cast iron doors chromed so the machine really pops. Holds 27 bottles and the bottom is for storage of empty bottles.
I discribe all my items as best as I can. I have been a e-bay member for over 20 years now and still enjoy it as much as the first day I used it, actually, more. I have personally met many people off of e-bay and have made many friends.
