Coca Cola machine, model VMC 44, ready for restoration.. The VMC 44 differs from the Vendo 44 in that it was made when the Vendo Company of Kansas City merged with Vendolator in Fresno, California in 1956. After 1956 all VMC and Vendo machines carried the chrome front plate. For a collector, I believe this particular machine would stand apart from the newer models. It was only made in that one year.
Size: 57" high x 16" wide x 22 deep. Because of its size it is the most desirable Coca Cola machine ever produced. The coin mechanism differs on this model. It seems to be missing the slug rejector components, but I understand parts like this do exist. At present the dispenser handle does not push down. We have had this machine for fifty years. Early on it dispensed soda in the original size bottles, but the newer, thinner bottles must have sleeves installed in the racks to use properly now. There are no dents on this model. The lock and key are missing. The item "Coca Cola machine, model VMC 44, dated 1956, ready for restoration" is in sale since Thursday, June 10, 2021.
