Westinghouse WE10 Coca Cola Cooler - All There! For your consideration is an original 1949 Westinghouse WE10 Coca Cola Cooler in very good original condition. A classic Coke Cooler in use when a bottle of Coke was anywhere from 5¢, 6¢, 8¢ or 10¢.
Exceptional 50's styling cues - Sides are tapered with heavy use of looking stainless on top covers and completely stainless inside as well as a stainless kick plate. Embossed graphics inside and out. Produced in 1949, this was the most over-the-top 50's looking cooler that Westinghouse ever produced - later models became progressively plainer and boxier. The machine is a electrically refrigerated wet cooler.
Motor, compressor, and all id tags for machine and refrigeration are all there. Motor, compressor and fan operate. There is a dent on back trim between the hinged covers- an easy fix.Other wise, front and sides and interior look very good. Embossed graphics on front are very good. The unit features embossed Coca Cola logos both on the cover interiors and exteriors.
Covers are also hinged, allowing front and back access. I have not yet tested the cooler since when I put it in storage a few years ago. Whether the machine cools, but this machine was in great working condition at that time. I will check the refrigeration when it warms up!
