1964 Vintage H63C Vendo Coke/Coca-Cola Bottles Vending Machine. Based on Vendo's serial number system, I believe this machine to have been manufactured in July of 1964. The "Things Go Better With Coke" slogan on each side is also from this era. It is all original to my knowledge, but for the replaced tiny light tubes inside marquee/sign (I replaced these in 2000).
It has been stored in my heated garage since 1995. When I took ownership of it, the bottom left corner was crushed as if possibly dropped while unloading but looks more like a car backed into it way back when it was likely outside of a service station (see: photos). It needs some love and maybe a new drain/defrost/condenser rubber hose. There is some corrosion on the sheet metal below the refrigerator unit. It holds 60-63 bottles and has been adapted for coin-less vending and will hold long-neck beer bar-bottles. Great for a man-cave, poolside BBQ area, or home theater. I put a sheet of "congo blue" theatrical lighting gel behind the marquee because the white "Coca-Cola" sign/light was too bright for my man-cave. Easily removed, but it gives off a neat "blacklight" glow. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Banks, Registers & Vending\Vending Machines\Soda".
